Sean Galbraith - urban environments on film

While at the PDN Photo Plus Expo in NYC this past October we were all thrilled to see Sean Galbraith in New York. Sean’s a Toronto based large format shooter, Polaroid shooter, FPP listener and die-hard film supporter!

FPP co-host and fellow film shooter Mat Marrash met Sean already lnew Sean from the FPP Toronto meet-up and recorded this interview while at the PDN.

Sean Galbraith - Large Format Photographer by Film Photography Project

Sean says, “My passion and profession is urban planning and my photography is a natural extension of this interest. I spend a lot of time exploring cities and observing city life. Through my photographs I simply try to capture honest and accurate representations of what cities mean and what makes them beautiful.

I am currently shooting with a Mamiya RB67 medium format film camera, and sometimes with a Panasonic FZ30 digital camera or a Polaroid Land Automatic 210.

I’m the founding member of the DK Photogroup, urban exploration photography specialists and co-owner of galleryDK, a photography gallery in Toronto."
